    Where does Moustiqu'Out come from?

    The idea came from a problem:

    With new threats such as the tiger mosquito and the Asian hornet, how do you keep your home safe?

    You could keep the doors shut, you might say.

    Yes, but that would mean giving up fresh air or spending a fortune on air conditioning!

    So how do you avoid the bites while protecting nature and your health?

    The challenges

    The obvious solution was a fly screen! But there were several problems:

    • Installation is often complicated and damages the frames.
    • You have to take it down every time you want to go out — not practical when your hands are full.
    • Kids and pets end up stuck inside or forget to put it back once they're out.
    • It's rarely the right size or look.

    The solution: The Moustiqu'Out V2

    THE MAGIC TRICK: THE MAGNETS!

    For the fly screen not to get in the way day to day, it had to open easily and close by itself. But how do you pull that off?

    The solution was actually simple: for the two sides of the Moustiqu'Out to come back together, it needed magnets.

    That's why it now features 38 heavy-duty magnets down the centre of the Moustiqu'Out so it closes in an instant!

    The fly screen was no longer an obstacle for us — only for the insects. Over 21,000 customers have trusted us since 2019.

    How are the dimensions calculated?

    A Moustiqu'Out is made of 2 panels joined by a magnetic closure, so one fly screen fully covers a door. For example, the 80x210 cm model is made of 2 panels of 40x210 cm.

    Does it work for windows?

    Here are the models specially designed for your windows here.

    Does it work with big dogs?

    Yes, the curtain is perfectly suited to all pets, and you can also reinforce it with the pins supplied.

    Does it work with sliding windows?

    Yes, as long as the width is respected.

    The dimensions don't fit. Can it be cut to size?

    You can cut it horizontally or make a hem to keep the full weighted edge. However, if it's a width problem, it will need to be returned for a refund or exchange.

    How do I return a product?

    You have 14 days to return a product; to do so, contact support to arrange a refund. Used parcels or parcels damaged by the customer cannot be returned.

    Return costs are at your expense, and please keep proof of return as you are responsible in case of loss or damage.

    I received a damaged parcel?

    Take photos of the faulty item, then contact support within 7 days to be told the procedure to follow.

    My parcel is late?

    Thanks to precise parcel tracking, you always know where your order is.

    Moustiqu'Out pays particular attention to payment security. Every transaction on the website is 100% secure. Thanks to SSL encryption, your personal data and payment details are protected. You can also amend or delete your personal data at any time.

    Can I order without an account?

    Yes, an account is optional at Moustiqu'Out.

    I want to cancel or change my order

    You cannot change an order, but you have 12 hours to cancel it by contacting support and place a new one if needed.

    Can I send an order to a loved one?

    Yes, simply enter their address as the “Shipping address”. Note there is no special gift packaging.
